The Rotary Club of Mumbai Mahim (RCMM) continues to make a difference in lives through impactful grassroots initiatives. Recently, RCMM donated a sewing machine to Ms. Riya Parab from Malvan, enabling her to become self-reliant and support her family financially. Riya comes from a humble farming background and has successfully completed a sewing course. Determined to earn a livelihood, she had been renting a sewing machine to take up stitching work. Recognizing her need and potential, Rtn. Rashmi Patil identified her as a deserving beneficiary and ensured smooth execution of the project. The sewing machine was handed over to Riya on 22nd July, 2025 by Rtn. Rashmi Patil. This small yet significant support is expected to give wings to Riya’s aspirations. A heartfelt thank you to Rtn.
