Overview
It was a truly enriching experience to attend the IKIGAI session by Rtn. Dr. Ajay Darekar at Matunga Premier School. He engaged Grade 9 and 10 students in two impactful sessions, leaving a lasting impression on students and teachers alike. IKIGAI, a Japanese concept meaning “a reason for being,” was at the heart of his session. With clarity and warmth, Dr. Darekar connected deeply with young minds, guiding them through five introspective questions: Who am I? What is my unique ability? Why do I exist? How can I make the world better? What do I love to do? At a time when students face pressure and confusion about their future, the session offered clarity and inspiration. His insights helped them reflect, explore their passions, and discover their personal IKIGAI – a blend of what they love, are good at, the world needs, and what they can be paid for. RCMM is proud to support such initiatives that nurture confident and purpose-driven individuals.
