About Us

Rotary Club of Mumbai Mahim was established on 26th June 2002, with Rtn. Vishwas Kale from Rotary Club of Mumbai Sion entrusted with the responsibility of forming the new club. It is an association of like-minded professionals dedicated to serving the less fortunate, setting aside time, money, and resources to contribute positively to society. The club started with 18 members and has grown to 58. Unique in its approach, RCMM holds breakfast meetings on alternate Saturdays at AOTS Hall, Wadala.

Our club comprises passionate professionals, each committed to leveraging their expertise, time, and resources for the greater good. Through collaborative efforts and unwavering dedication, we strive to spearhead initiatives that address pressing societal needs and foster positive change. We meticulously ensure that our endeavours reach those who need them the most, ensuring that every contribution, whether it be time, talent, or financial resources, makes a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities.

The club places special emphasis on youth development, offering opportunities to become responsible citizens and valuable contributors to society. In line with this philosophy, RCMM successfully established the Rotaract Club at Ramnarain Ruia College in 2012, the only Indian college with a ’College of Excellence’ status by the UGC. Another Rotaract Club, King’s Circle Matunga, primarily comprising students from ICT (formerly UDCT), was chartered on 24th  December, 2015. The club has also been actively involved with schools, forming the Interact Club at Matunga Premier School in September 2017, followed by Chhatrapati Shivaji Vidyalaya in Dharavi, officially recognized on 10th December, 2022, with its leadership installed on 12th  April 2023. In 2024, another Interact Club was established at Dadar Vidya Mandir, a school RCMM has supported for over five years, receiving its charter on 30th April 2024. Interact club at J B Vachha School for Parsi girls was established on 25th February 2025 and receiving its charter on 18th March 2025.

The club has also been involved in ROTAL, initially in collaboration with Thane Club in 2014-15 and 2015-16, later successfully leading the event under Rtn. Anand Limaye. After two years of ROTAL being conducted by RC Mumbai Parleshwar, RCMM resumed its role as Lead Host Club in 2024-25 and 2025-26 led by Rtns. Varsha, Kishore, Manoj, Dhananjay and Shaila.

RCMM has transformed lives through 272 successful pediatric heart surgeries and over 100 cataract operations under the ‘Cataract Free Palghar’ initiative, providing vital medical care to those in need.

RCMM received the Gold Club classification in 2018-19 for its exceptional performance and contributions to TRF. The club has earned multiple prestigious awards, including the PDG Madhukar Deodhar Trophy for Best Bulletin (for clubs up to 75 members), the Mumbai Midwest
